FOR THE FIRST EDITION, I'M HONORED TO HAVE, TEEDRA MOSES. TEEDRA IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE SOUNDTRACK OF MY LIFE. HERE ARE HER RULES TO LIVE BY.
1.
Have a flexible mind. We can make plans. We can have expectations but I believe in order to have a good life you must be flexible. Sometimes we have to surrender to changes in plans and expectation and find peace in what is. Open your mind to different perspective. Some of the most amazing experiences I've had in life were the result of me simply being flexible.

Be compassionate, but fuck people. We can be kind, caring and unapologetic at the same time. We can truly consider people, what they've been through, what they feel, what makes them happy BUT this life is yours! Do not let what others think of you control how you feel or move in life.

Listen to good music and DANCE!!!! Never let the rhythm pass you by. When you are stressed turn on a great song and dance. When you are happy turn on a great song and dance. When you cook turn on a great song and dance. Any chance you get turn on a great song and DANCE!!!

Look for the blessings. In my opinion, what we focus on is what we lure into our lives. It's like, if you like a car and you start to consider buying it or you do buy it you see that car everywhere because you are focused on that car. If you look for blessings you'll see them in everything. Even in the hardest, most painful, disappointing, loneliest times if you look for the good it will be there. Now, sometimes it takes a while to see but in time clarity shows all things are lessons and blessings.
5.
Never trade the morals of your soul for the benefits of your flesh. If we can't love and respect ourselves through our decisions we are making unhealthy decisions for our souls.

Love who loves you back. We are all born with an abundance of love inside of us. We pour it into others and they pour it back into us. If you pour out love without love being poured back into you, baby you will eventually be drained dry. If there is no replenishing place to pour your love remember you can always pour it right back into yourself.
7.
Don't spend every waking hour of your life trying to get somewhere.We all have goals. Many of us are ambitious but where you are is where you are supposed to be in this moment. ENJOY LIFE RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW IN THIS VERY MOMENT!!! There is no time like the present.
