MAY IS MY SHOPPING CALENDAR HOLD.

Everything I feature I love personally. If you do buy something, I may earn a commission.

I do most of my shopping twice a year. In May for my summer wardrobe and late August, early September for my fall winter wardrobe. My preliminary purchase every spring is a great pair of sunglasses, of which my go-to brands are Loewe and Marni. Sunglasses are followed by cotton trousers, always from Dries Van Noten as he makes the best trousers, especially for women with curves. Then I look for a great white dress and a pair of sandals.

I take a bit of a uniformed approach to day time dressing during the warmer months, usually a baggy jean with a vintage tee or tank (James Perse makes amazing tanks), a great bag, an oversized striped shirt and a raffia bucket hat. Timeless pieces that I wear every summer without fail. While my day looks are the epitome of pragmatic fashion, I go full ethereal borderline glamour puss for the evenings. These are the purchases I'm contemplating from Net-a-Porter right now.
